What is a spinal cord injury?

A spinal cord injury is a serious problem that needs to be treated before a person becomes paralytic. This condition should be administered proper care due the severe pain it can cause. A spinal cord injury begins with a fracture that can dislocate the vertebrae. Usually, this happens after encountering a serious blow from an accident. These accidents do not actually break the spinal cord instead, the injury incurred causes damage the moment the vertebrae pieces tear into the cord tissue or press down on the nerve parts which carries the signal to the brain. This will lead to either complete or incomplete paralysis.
